Multifaceted Artist Anton Van Dalen Passes Away At 83

Anton Van Dalen, a multifaceted artist known for his impactful contributions to visual arts, passed away at the age of 83. 

Anton Van Dalen, a Dutch-American artist born on November 11, 1938, in Amstelveen, Netherlands. Known for his fantastical cityscapes and detailed depictions of New York’s East Village, where he lived and raised his family. Educated at the Amsterdamse Grafische School, he had numerous exhibitions, including at Cleveland State University and Exit Art. He passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 86.
