Darren McKoy, Dr. Martens’ global creative director, has announced his departure after a decade with the brand. Joining in 2015 and assuming the global creative director role in 2022, McKoy played a pivotal part in growing the brand’s value from £136 million to £1 billion.
McKoy expressed gratitude for the journey but stated it was the right time to pursue new opportunities. His announcement coincided with Ije Nwokorie’s first day as the new CEO.
