Scheduled to launch on the Ethereum blockchain this May, MAE is designed to redefine artistic engagement by integrating performance art with blockchain technology. Developed in collaboration with the TaEx digital art marketplace, this project introduces a new form of interactive digital collectibles that push the boundaries of audience participation.
Marina Abramović Element consists of four exclusive NFT drops, each offering a unique interactive experience. Unlike traditional digital art, these NFTs go beyond static images, incorporating motion, engagement, and participatory elements that align with Abramović’s signature approach to audience involvement. This fusion of art and technology creates a novel way for collectors and fans to engage with her work on a deeper level.
The Ethereum blockchain serves as the foundation for MAE, ensuring transparency, authenticity, and secure transactions. Ethereum’s decentralized nature guarantees that each NFT remains a verifiable and immutable piece of Abramović’s artistic legacy, accessible to collectors worldwide.
